Precautionary Measure Issued After Water Main Break
The City of Bloomington Utilities issued a precautionary boil water advisory for Monroe County on Saturday, August 16, 2024, following a water main break.
The advisory affects all households receiving water from the city of Bloomington. Residents are advised to boil water before drinking, cooking, brushing their teeth, or washing dishes.
The boil order will remain in effect until further notice. The city is working to repair the water main and will provide updates as they become available.
What to Do During a Boil Order
