Roma Femminile maintained their perfect start to the 2021-22 Serie A Women season with a dominant 5-0 victory over Sassuolo Femminile. Andressa Alves starred for the Giallorosse, scoring a brace, while Manuela Sciabica missed a close-range header for Sassuolo.

Alves opened the scoring in the first half with a right-footed shot from outside the box. She doubled Roma's lead just before halftime with a header from close range. The second half saw Roma continue their dominance, with Lindsey Thomas and Agnese Bonfantini adding goals. Elena Linari sealed the victory with a late penalty.

Despite the heavy defeat, Sassuolo had their moments. Sciabica's header in the second half was just inches wide of the goal, while Camilla Forlani also had a good chance that she sent over the bar. However, Roma were too strong on the day and extended their unbeaten run to five matches.

The victory takes Roma Femminile five points clear at the top of Serie A Women, while Sassuolo Femminile remain in mid-table.
